
"In District" (or resident) is defined as anyone living within the geographical boundaries of the Bartlett Park District who pays property taxes contributing to the Bartlett Park District. The Bartlett Park District reserves the right to request proof of residency. "Out of District" (nonresident) is someone who lives outside the geographical boundaries and does not pay property taxes contributing to the Bartlett Park District. The park district assesses a “fair share” out of district fee to all programs and services. In District participants also have an opportunity to go into the random draw for programs before out of district participants. Proof of residency is required.
The following information applies to all general programs, unless specified otherwise:
1. Mark your Calendars! No refunds or credit can be given for classes missed or forgotten.
2. Cancellation requests can be considered only when a written request is received by the Registration Office seven or more working weekdays prior to the start of the program session. A $6 administrative fee is charged per program, per person.
3. Transfers can be considered only when written request is submitted and received by the Registration Office at least seven working weekdays before the start of the program session (space permitting).
4. If you do not receive a confirmation for each class by mail, it is your responsibility to contact the Registration Office prior to the start of all classes you have requested.
5. Transfer and cancellation forms are available at the Registration Office. If unable to obtain the proper form, you may submit a request in writing including the following information:
- Participant’s name, address, and phone number.
- Class level, session dates, and class time.
- Name, address, and phone number of person requesting the transfer or cancellation.
- Reason for request.
ALL forms are date-stamped when received.
NSF Checks: A $25 fee is charged for all returned checks.
